New ladies Only Muay Thai Classes
From Tuesday the 7th of November we will be adding some additional morning classes to our very popular ladies only Muay Thai boxing Programme. This will be a non-contact class where you’ll learn all the punches, kicks, knees and elbow strikes of Muay Thai but without sparring. The classes will run on a Tuesday and Thursday at 9.30am – 10.30am.
Muay Thai or Thai Boxing originated in Thailand where it was nicknamed the art of eight limbs as it allows punching, kicking, elbow and knee techniques. It is widely recognised as the most efficient stand up Martial Art making it ideal for beginners due to its simplicity. This class is perfect for anyone looking to lose weight and get fitter as each class will start with a workout and then develop explosive power and cardiovascular fitness by hitting pads and punch bags.
The first 5 sessions will be spent running through our fundamentals programme which is normally only done in a 121 format, this will save all members who start on the 7th hundreds of pounds. After that all new members will be required to do the 121 programme before joining the group class.
