We understand that there is a huge difference between the abilities and maturity of a 5yr old and an 11yr old, that’s why we offer two age specific children’s Muay Thai classes. This ensures your child gets the appropriate instruction for his or her age group.
Both classes have an emphasis on self discipline and confidence building and while both classes learn the Art of Muay Thai, each class will approach it in a very different way and only learn the techniques appropriate for that age group.
Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is a martial art that centres on striking techniques. Muay Thai originated in Thailand where it was nicknamed the art of eight limbs as it allows punching, kicking, elbow and knee techniques.

The Kids Muay Thai class is taught by Sam who is an OFSTED registered child practitioner and qualified Children’s Martial arts instructor. She aims to provide your child with the best mix of fun, safety and discipline.
The classes concentrate around martial arts games and drills that develop key skills such as balance, timing, co ordination, listening and fitness.

The Junior Muay Thai class focuses more upon Martial Arts training then games, the kids will still have loads of fun but now they’ll concentrate more on learning Muay Thai and preparing for their quarterly gradings.
We teach techniques from Muay Thai and Boxing however the more dangerous techniques have been removed at this stage. Self discipline is stressed at all times during this class.
