Dorchester Martial Arts is proud to be affiliated to the Fightworx BJJ Association and head instructor Darren Yeoman.
Fightworx has two full time gyms, Torquey is run by Darren Yeoman and Taunton by Gary Davies. I recommend you visit these gyms regularly to train with different instructors and roll with different members.
BJJ doesn’t have regular Gradings like Muay Thai, grades are awarded when Darren feels you have reached a certain level of skill, knowledge and commitment.
Each belt has 4 stripes which your earn before moving to the next belt. It can typically take ten years to reach black belt level in BJJ.
